The Government of Balochistan has launched a new Electric Bike Scheme to provide affordable transport to young people and working women. The project was announced by Sarfraz Bugti as part of efforts to support economic growth and clean transportation.
Electric bike price revealed
Under the scheme, the total price of one electric bike is Rs175,000. The provincial government will provide a 30 percent subsidy worth Rs52,500.
How much applicants must pay
Applicants only need to pay Rs17,500 as an initial amount. The remaining Rs105,000 will be arranged through bank financing.
Easy monthly installments
Officials said successful applicants will repay the financed amount through monthly installments of Rs4,773. The repayment period will continue for 24 months.

The government says the scheme is not only for transportation support but also for promoting environmentally friendly vehicles. Authorities believe electric bikes can help reduce fuel dependence and support green mobility.
