National Savings to hold two prize bond draws on August 17
Thousands of National Savings customers across Pakistan are eagerly waiting for August 17, 2026, when two separate prize bond draws will be held on the same day. The draws will cover Rs1,500 and Rs100 prize bonds, giving bond holders another opportunity to win cash prizes.
The Rs1,500 prize bond draw will take place at the National Savings Centre Faisalabad, while the Rs100 prize bond draw will be held at the National Savings Centre Multan. The complete draw results will be announced shortly after the official balloting process is completed.
Rs1,500 and Rs100 prize bond winners to receive cash prizes
According to the official prize structure, the first prize for the Rs1,500 prize bond is Rs3 million, which will be awarded to one lucky winner.
The second prize is Rs1 million each for three winners, while 1,696 winners will receive the third prize of Rs18,500 each.
Meanwhile, the Rs100 prize bond draw also offers attractive rewards. The first prize is Rs700,000 for one winner, while three winners will receive the second prize of Rs200,000 each. In addition, 1,199 bond holders will win the third prize of Rs1,000 each.
The Rs1,500 prize bond remains one of the most popular investment options because of its affordable price and comparatively higher number of winning prizes. Similarly, the Rs100 prize bond is widely held across Pakistan due to its low purchase cost and regular quarterly draws.
How to check prize bond results online
Once the official draw is completed, bond holders will be able to verify their results through the National Savings Pakistan website.
Users can check the results by selecting the relevant bond denomination, choosing the August 17, 2026 draw date, and searching for their bond number. The complete list of winning numbers will also be available for download.
National Savings also provides an online search facility that allows users to check individual bond numbers quickly without downloading the full results list.
Who can participate and what tax applies?
Any person holding a valid Rs1,500 or Rs100 prize bond is eligible to participate in the draw. However, the bond must have been issued at least 60 days before the draw date to qualify for any prize.
Prize bonds can be purchased from authorized National Savings Centres and other approved outlets before the applicable cut-off period.
Winners should also note that withholding tax will be deducted from prize money. Tax filers will pay 15%, while non-filers will be subject to a 30% withholding tax deduction.
The August 17 draws are part of the Central Directorate of National Savings' official draw schedule and are expected to attract significant public interest, with thousands of bond holders set to check the results as soon as they are announced.
