NADRA announces new job opportunity

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced an Assistant Director position for skilled and qualified professionals. The job is available in the organisation’s Governance, Risk Management and Compliance department.

The selected candidates will work on security framework compliance, risk assessments and information security audits. They will also help prepare policies, standard operating procedures and security controls.

Cybersecurity skills preferred

NADRA will give preference to candidates with experience in modern technology and cybersecurity. Applicants should have knowledge of security standards including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 42001 and PKI/Web Trust.

The job also involves assessing risks linked to artificial intelligence systems. Candidates may need to deal with generative AI, large language models, prompt injection, data exposure and shadow AI risks.

Professional certifications can help

NADRA has said candidates with professional certifications such as ISO 27001, CISM and CISA will be preferred. These qualifications are linked to information security, cybersecurity and risk management skills.

Successful candidates will be appointed in Islamabad and Quetta. The positions are aimed at professionals who can handle modern cybersecurity and compliance responsibilities.

Application deadline announced

Eligible candidates can apply online through NADRA’s official careers portal. The last date to submit applications is October 4, 2026.

NADRA said it provides equal employment opportunities to all citizens without discrimination. The authority has encouraged qualified professionals to apply for the position.

The new NADRA position is mainly focused on cybersecurity, risk management and compliance. Knowledge of modern AI-related security risks is also an important part of the role.
