Momina Iqbal files FIR against PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar for harassment

According to her complaint submitted at Chung Police Station, actress and model Momina Iqbal accused PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar of repeatedly contacting and threatening both her and her fiancé.
The actress alleged that the situation worsened after she rejected a marriage proposal. She claimed that abusive behavior, threatening messages, video calls, and blackmail attempts followed afterward.
The demand for a Saqib Chadhar FIR has become a major topic on social media, with supporters of the actress calling for a transparent investigation into the allegations.
Momina Iqbal further claimed that threatening messages were also sent to her sister, causing concern and stress for the entire family. She said the situation had affected their mental well-being for an extended period.

The PML-N MPA harassment case gained further attention after Momina Iqbal visited the police station alongside her legal team and formally briefed police officials about the complaint.
Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz stated that any attempt to pressure, intimidate, or exploit a woman through threats or misuse of influence would face strict legal action.
In a social media statement, the chief minister described the matter as a personal issue that would be addressed strictly on merit and according to the law.
Earlier, the actress had publicly claimed that she was facing “online harassment, cyberbullying and death threats.” She also alleged that previous complaints to relevant authorities did not lead to satisfactory action.
