Lahore to seal over 200 unregistered private schools
The Education Authority Lahore has intensified its crackdown on unregistered private schools and decided to seal 213 more institutions that have failed to complete the required registration process.
According to officials, a summary has been sent to the district administration requesting action against the schools. The latest move follows an earlier operation in which 30 private schools were sealed for failing to comply with registration requirements.
Education officials said further action will be taken against schools that continue to ignore government directives. They stressed that every private educational institution must complete the registration process to continue operating legally.
CEO Education Tariq Mahmood said that 744 private schools have already been issued a final warning to complete their registration. He warned that institutions failing to comply would face strict action without exception.

The Education Authority said compliance with registration regulations is mandatory for all private schools. Officials added that the crackdown will continue across Lahore to ensure that all educational institutions comply with the law and meet the required standards.
Authorities also urged school administrations to complete the registration process immediately to avoid sealing and any further legal action.
