Youm-e-Ali is observed annually on the 21st of Ramadan to commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA). According to officials, the procession will commence at 1:00 PM from Nishtar Park, follow its traditional routes, and conclude at Imambargah Hussainia Iranian in Kharadar.
As part of the traffic arrangements, MA Jinnah Road will be closed to general traffic from Guru Mandir to Tower, while Corridor Three, from Saddar Dawakhana to Regal, will also remain closed, a traffic police spokesperson said.
Traffic approaching from District Central will be diverted via Lasbela to Nishtar Road Garden, and vehicles coming from Liaquatabad will be redirected from Guru Mandir to Lasbela and Garden.
Commuters traveling from Hasan Square to Peoples Chowrangi have been advised to take alternative routes, including New MA Jinnah Road, Jail Flyover, Teen Hatti, and Nishtar Road.

Additionally, traffic on Shahrah-e-Quaideen will not be allowed to proceed beyond the Society Light Signal, the spokesperson added.
Vehicles with special passes participating in the procession will be permitted entry from Society Light Signal, while vehicles carrying Niaz and Sabeel will be allowed to enter from MA Jinnah Road Tower.
Traffic police personnel will be deployed at all diversion points and along alternative routes to guide commuters and ensure the procession proceeds smoothly.
