Karachi load shedding today: Check areas affected by K-Electric maintenance

 K-Electric has launched a major maintenance campaign across Karachi, leading to temporary electricity suspension in dozens of areas. The planned work is part of the company’s effort to improve the power network and reduce the chances of unexpected outages in the future.

According to K-Electric, electricity supply will remain suspended in several parts of the city during the maintenance work. Most of the scheduled activities will take place between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, although some feeders may remain offline for longer or shorter periods depending on operational requirements.

The power utility said the maintenance campaign is aimed at upgrading important infrastructure, strengthening the electricity network, and making the system more reliable for consumers. These planned shutdowns are intended to help prevent sudden power failures in the future.
