Karachi celebrates Eidul Azha with religious devotion
Like other parts of the country, the Bohra community in Karachi celebrated Eidul Azha on Tuesday with religious enthusiasm, devotion and traditional spirit.
Special Eid gatherings and religious events were organized in different areas of the city, while the main congregation was held at Taheri Mosque in Saddar, where a large number of community members offered Eid prayers.
After the prayers, special supplications were made for peace, stability and prosperity in Pakistan. Worshippers also prayed for national unity, development and global peace.
Sacrifice arrangements completed
Members of the Bohra community exchanged Eid greetings and celebrated the occasion according to religious traditions.
Community representatives said all arrangements for animal sacrifice had been completed in line with the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). They added that sacrificial rituals would continue throughout all three days of Eidul Azha.
Collective sacrifice arrangements were also made in several areas to ensure the religious obligation is carried out in an organized and disciplined manner.
Focus on charity and brotherhood
Eidul Azha carries the message of sacrifice, compassion and brotherhood for Muslims around the world, and the Bohra community observed the festival while promoting these values.
A spiritual atmosphere was witnessed in homes, mosques and community centers across Karachi, while special attention was also given to welfare activities and helping deserving families during the festive occasion.
