The district administration in Islamabad has warned petrol pumps against refusing petrol or diesel supply and asked citizens to immediately report such violations.
In a public advisory, the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad urged residents to inform the authorities if any petrol pump declines to provide fuel. The move comes amid concerns that some stations may stop selling fuel during price uncertainty or supply pressure.
Officials said public cooperation is crucial to ensure the smooth and fair supply of petrol and diesel across the capital city. The administration believes timely reporting can help prevent artificial shortages and stop any attempt to disrupt fuel availability.
Citizens have been requested to report such incidents to the Islamabad District Administration Control Room by calling 051-9108084. They can also share information through the administration’s official social media channels.

Authorities assured that strict action would be taken against petrol pumps found refusing to supply fuel without a valid reason. The administration said such practices create unnecessary panic and inconvenience for the public.
The advisory further stressed that monitoring teams are active in the city and will take immediate action once complaints are received. Officials added that citizens’ vigilance can play a key role in maintaining order in the fuel market.
The district administration also urged residents to stay alert and promptly report any violation. According to officials, strong public participation will help maintain uninterrupted fuel supply and ensure that petrol pumps follow the rules.
