Islamabad launches mobile facilitation vans to bring services to citizens
Officials said the goal of the Islamabad mobile facilitation vans is to reduce long queues at police stations and make public services faster and more accessible for residents.
Under this initiative, the Islamabad mobile facilitation vans will offer key services including driving licence issuance, learner permits, and traffic-related token services through the system of the Islamabad Traffic Police.
The Islamabad mobile facilitation vans are also part of the Police Station-on-Wheels project, which brings police services closer to neighborhoods instead of requiring citizens to visit stations.
Through these Islamabad mobile facilitation vans, people will also be able to get character certificates, tenant registration, and domestic worker registration services on the spot.
Officials said this system is designed to modernise service delivery and reduce pressure on traditional police stations.

They added that the Islamabad mobile facilitation vans initiative reflects a wider effort to introduce citizen-friendly and digital policing reforms.
Authorities have advised citizens to check the official schedule and visit the nearest van location according to convenience to avoid delays.
This step is expected to save time, reduce crowding, and improve overall access to police services in the capital.
