(Web Desk): Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir, discussing the latest regional security situation and issues of mutual concern.

According to sources, the Iranian foreign minister also reached out to several global counterparts, including the foreign ministers of Turkey, Britain, France, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, to brief them on the evolving situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts.

These contacts focused on regional stability, de-escalation, and attempts to reduce tensions through dialogue and coordination among key countries. Meanwhile, tensions between Iran and Israel have sharply increased after both sides exchanged attacks in recent days.

Reports from Iranian sources said explosions were heard in several cities, including Tehran, Tabriz, Karaj, and Isfahan. Officials described the Israeli strikes as a response to earlier Iranian actions.

In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it carried out missile strikes on Israel, claiming that key military targets were hit with ballistic missiles. The attacks reportedly caused fires and damage in multiple areas.

Iranian officials said the operation was linked to earlier developments in Beirut, adding that Iran had supported ceasefire efforts but blamed Israel’s actions in Lebanon for worsening the situation.

Separately, reports also confirmed that a missile was launched toward Israel from Yemen, while air raid sirens were heard in Tel Aviv following the incident. The situation continues to remain highly tense, with diplomatic channels now active as countries try to prevent further escalation in the region.
