The Kasur district administration has announced a local holiday on Saturday, August 29, to mark the Urs of renowned Sufi poet and saint Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah.

The holiday will be observed as the three-day Urs celebrations continue in Kasur. The event has now entered its second day, with devotees and visitors arriving to participate in the annual gathering.

Holiday applies to district offices

According to the administration's announcement, the holiday will apply to offices working under the Deputy Commissioner of Kasur. Relevant district government institutions will also remain closed on the day.
