Pakistan has officially announced its Hajj 2026 flight schedule, with the first flight set to depart on April 18 as preparations enter the final phase.

Hajj flights schedule and duration

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the pre-Hajj flight operation will continue for over a month, ending on May 21. A total of 468 flights will transport pilgrims from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia under the government scheme.

Flights will depart from major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot, Multan, Quetta, Faisalabad, and Sukkur. On the first day alone, four flights are scheduled to leave for Madinah.

Madinah first, then Jeddah

In the first 15 days, all pilgrims will be flown directly to Madinah. A total of 186 flights are allocated for Madinah, while 282 flights will operate to Jeddah. Flights to Jeddah will begin from May 4, marking the second phase of the operation.

Total pilgrims and gender breakdown

Under the official scheme, around 119000 Pakistani pilgrims will perform Hajj this year. This includes 67230 male pilgrims and 51846 female pilgrims traveling to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.

Airlines and city-wise flight distribution

Several airlines will take part in the operation, including Pakistan International Airlines, Airblue, Air Sial, and Saudia.

Islamabad will handle the highest number of flights with 129 departures, followed by Karachi with 124 and Lahore with 104. Other cities include Multan (34), Sialkot (26), Faisalabad (23), Quetta (18), and Sukkur (5).

Pilgrims have been advised to check their flight schedules through the Pak Hajj Mobile application. Detailed flight information is also available on the Ministry’s official website.

Authorities say all arrangements are being finalized to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey for pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2026.
