Hajj 2027: One day left to pay second instalment, upload medical certificate
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has reminded pilgrims under Pakistan’s government Hajj scheme to complete their second payment by October 20.
Applicants who fail to pay the required amount before the deadline risk having their Hajj applications cancelled, according to the ministry. The second instalment collection began on October 5 and is being handled through the official digital payment system.
The ministry has urged all selected pilgrims to complete the required steps without delay to avoid problems with their applications. The deadline is especially important for applicants who have not yet paid their remaining dues or completed their medical documentation.
A medical fitness certificate is also compulsory
Paying the second instalment is not the only requirement pilgrims must complete. The ministry has made a verified medical fitness certificate compulsory before the payment can be submitted.
Pilgrims must download the prescribed form from the official Hajj portal, have it checked and signed by a doctor, and upload the completed document to the online system.
Applicants should make sure the certificate is properly verified before uploading it. An incomplete or missing document could delay the process. The ministry has advised pilgrims to complete both the medical and payment requirements within the announced timeframe.
How pilgrims can pay the second instalment
Pilgrims can pay their outstanding Hajj dues through the National Information Technology Board’s digital Hajj portal or the Pak Hajj mobile application.
The available payment methods include bank cards, 1LINK, and manual bank challans, according to the ministry’s announced arrangements. Applicants should use the official platforms to complete their transactions and follow the instructions provided by the ministry.

After making the payment, pilgrims should keep their receipt or transaction confirmation for their records. They should also check the portal or application to ensure that their payment has been recorded successfully.
What happens if pilgrims miss the deadline?
The ministry has warned that Hajj applications may be cancelled if the second instalment is not deposited by October 20.
The deadline means applicants should not wait until the last moment to arrange payment or complete their medical documents. Pilgrims who are facing difficulties should check the official portal and contact the relevant authorities for guidance as soon as possible.
They should not rely on unverified messages or unofficial agents for payment instructions. The ministry has also advised intending pilgrims to use the Pak Hajj application and digital portal for official information and updates.
Pilgrims urged to complete all formalities
The ministry has stressed the need for applicants to complete all required steps within the announced period. These include obtaining the medical fitness certificate, getting it verified by a doctor, uploading it to the official system, and paying the second instalment.
Completing these requirements on time can help applicants avoid delays and reduce the risk of cancellation. Pilgrims should check their application status after submitting the documents and making the payment. If any requirement remains incomplete, they should address it before the deadline.
