Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan has completed 90 percent of the Hajj 2026 visa processing as authorities prepare to begin Hajj flights from April 18.

Pakistan has completed the visa process for 90 percent of pilgrims planning to perform Hajj in 2026, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Officials said the visa issuance process is progressing rapidly, with most pilgrim applications already approved as preparations for the annual pilgrimage continue. A spokesperson for the ministry said the Hajj flight operation from Pakistan will begin on April 18.

Authorities also assured that the ongoing regional conflict will not disrupt the Hajj operation and that arrangements are being made to ensure a smooth journey for pilgrims.

The ministry said it is maintaining close coordination with Saudi authorities to ensure the safety, comfort, and convenience of all pilgrims.

Sources added that the first Hajj flight will depart for Saudi Arabia on April 18, officially marking the start of Pakistan’s Hajj 2026 operation.

In the first phase, flights will operate from Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan. Pilgrims will receive full flight details next week.

Under the Hajj 2026 scheme, a total of 468 flights will transport about 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

On the first day of the operation, four flights will depart for Medina, while flights to Jeddah will begin on May 4.

The final Hajj flight from Pakistan is scheduled to depart on May 21. Hajj flights will operate from eight major cities across the country.

These include 129 flights from Islamabad, 124 from Karachi, 104 from Lahore, 34 from Multan, 26 from Sialkot, 23 from Faisalabad, 18 from Quetta, and five from Sukkur.

Officials said arrangements are being finalized to ensure that the entire operation is organized and completed on schedule. They added that efforts are focused on providing safe and smooth travel for all pilgrims.
