Govt raises kerosene oil price in Pakistan
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the latest increase comes after the government raised the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel.
Before the latest revision, kerosene oil was priced at Rs289.37 per litre. The revised rate came into effect on July 23 and applies across the country.
The increase is expected to add to the financial burden on consumers, especially those who rely on kerosene oil for cooking, heating and other daily household needs.

The latest adjustment is part of the government’s ongoing fuel price revisions, which have already increased the prices of several petroleum products in recent days.
With fuel prices continuing to rise, many consumers are concerned about the impact on household expenses and the overall cost of living.
