The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has increased the house requisition allowance for employees from Grade 3 to Grade 22, providing financial relief to thousands of workers and officers from July 1, 2026.

According to an official notification issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department, the revised allowance rates will apply to employees working in the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister Secretariat and Governor Secretariat.

Under the new rates, employees in Grades 3 to 6 will receive Rs6,000 per month, while those in Grades 7 to 10 will get Rs9,000. Employees in Grades 11 to 13 will receive Rs13,000, and Grades 14 and 15 will be paid Rs16,000 as house requisition allowance.

The notification further states that Grade 16 employees will receive Rs18,000 monthly. Officers in Grades 17 and 18 will get Rs21,000, while Grade 19 officers will receive Rs28,000. The allowance has been fixed at Rs35,000 for Grade 20, Rs42,000 for Grade 21 and Rs52,000 per month for Grade 22 officers.

Officials said the increase aims to help government employees cope with rising housing and living costs. The revised rates have taken effect from July 1, 2026.

In a separate move, the provincial government has also increased the Special Conveyance Allowance for disabled government employees. According to another notification issued by the Finance Department, the monthly allowance has been raised from Rs6,000 to Rs10,000, offering additional support to employees with disabilities.
