Transport association announces 15% reduction
The Pakistan Goods Transport Association confirmed a 15 percent reduction in freight charges after fuel prices were revised downward.
Lahore RTA holds emergency meeting
In Lahore, the Regional Transport Authority held an emergency meeting with transporters, where it was mutually agreed to implement new fare structures immediately under the supervision of Secretary RTA Lahore Rana Mohsin. Officials warned that strict action would be taken against any violation of the revised rates, while transport companies have already begun updating fare lists.

Karachi business class fares reduced from Rs 10,450 to Rs 8,550
Karachi economy class fares reduced from Rs 8,450 to Rs 7,000
Abbottabad fare reduced from Rs 3,400 to Rs 2,800
Bahawalnagar fare reduced from Rs 2,350 to Rs 1,950
Faisalabad fare reduced from Rs 1,085 to Rs 900
Dera Ghazi Khan fare reduced from Rs 2,600 to Rs 2,130
Hafizabad fare reduced from Rs 2,200 to Rs 1,800
Larkana fare reduced from Rs 8,450 to Rs 6,930
New fares implemented immediately
Authorities stated that the revised fare structure is effective immediately, and transport companies across the country have begun implementing the new pricing system to ensure public relief is fully delivered.
