Field Marshal Asim Munir and Iranian Interior Minister hold key talks on regional security and bilateral relations

Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni met Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in Rawalpindi to discuss important bilateral and regional issues. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Iran and improving security along their shared border.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, changing regional security conditions, and the implementation of effective border management mechanisms. They stressed the importance of working together to improve peace and stability in the region.

A major part of the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation along the Pakistan-Iran border. Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination and further improve joint mechanisms to enhance border security, prevent illegal activities, and promote regional stability.
