Three officers are assigned to morning duty
According to DIG Faisal Kamran, each police station will have three female officers assigned to the morning shift. Two female officers will be deployed during the evening shift.
The arrangement is intended to ensure that female police personnel remain available throughout the day and night. Police authorities believe the presence of women officers can make it easier for female visitors to discuss complaints involving sensitive or personal matters.
Female complainants to be assisted by women officers
