Famous TikToker killed in alleged police encounter in Peshawar

The incident happened during an operation after officers received a report of a snatching incident.

According to police, the incident took place in the limits of Kotwali Police Station. Officers reached the scene after receiving information about a snatching case, where the suspects allegedly opened fire with the intention of killing the police team.

Police said Rider Squad officer Haider Ali Shah was injured during the firing. During the exchange of fire, one of the suspects, identified as Masal alias Masalay, was allegedly hit by bullets fired by his own accomplice and died on the spot.

Police described the deceased as a notorious drug dealer, criminal and robber. He was a resident of Qazi Khelan and was reportedly wanted in several criminal cases.

According to police records, the suspect was facing multiple cases related to narcotics, illegal weapons and other criminal offences. He was also wanted in cases registered under different laws, including the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, illegal arms charges and child protection-related offences.

Police said the operation is continuing to arrest the second suspect who managed to escape from the scene. Search operations have been launched, and efforts are underway to trace and arrest the fleeing suspect.
