EU foreign policy chief lands in Pakistan on official visit
EU’s high representative Kaja Kallas arrives in Pakistan on an official visit to strengthen Pakistan-EU ties through strategic dialogue and leadership meetings.
During the visit, both sides will co-chair the 8th Session of the Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue, which serves as the highest-level platform for structured engagement between Pakistan and the European Union.
Kallas is also expected to meet Pakistan’s top leadership, including the Prime Minister and the President, during her stay in Islamabad.

Officials said Pakistan places strong importance on its long-standing and multidimensional relationship with the European Union, which is based on shared values, economic cooperation, and a commitment to multilateral engagement.
They added that the visit highlights continued momentum in high-level political exchanges and reflects both sides’ desire to further strengthen their partnership.
The Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue is expected to focus on key areas of cooperation, including political engagement, trade, development, and regional stability. Both sides aim to explore new opportunities to deepen collaboration and enhance mutual understanding in an evolving global environment.
