Expected Eidul Fitr Holidays in Pakistan

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Meteorological Department has issued its moon sighting prediction for Eidul Fitr 2026, suggesting that the festival is likely to fall on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Based on this expected date, the Cabinet Division of Pakistan has already issued a notification outlining public holidays for the year.

According to the notification, Eidul Fitr holidays in Pakistan are expected to be observed on March 21, 22, and 23, 2026, providing citizens with a three-day public holiday.

However, the final confirmation will depend on the official moon sighting announcement made by the relevant authorities.

Eid Preparations Begin Across Muslim Countries

With the expected dates approaching, preparations for Eid prayers, family gatherings, and festive celebrations have already started in many Muslim-majority countries.
