Eid al-Adha holidays announced for Islamabad High Court from May 26
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) and all subordinate courts will remain closed from May 26 to May 28 on the occasion of Eid al-Adha holidays, according to an official notification issued by the court administration.
The notification was issued by the Registrar of the Islamabad High Court after receiving approval from the Chief Justice.
Officials confirmed that judicial proceedings will remain suspended from Tuesday, May 26, to Thursday, May 28, as part of the Eid holiday schedule.
Additionally, due to ongoing austerity measures, no judicial work will be conducted from Friday to Sunday, further extending the break in court activities.

This means court operations will remain largely inactive for several days, giving staff and lawyers an extended holiday period during Eid al-Adha.
Authorities stated that the decision is part of the routine holiday calendar and administrative arrangements made annually for major religious occasions.
The closure is expected to affect case hearings and court schedules, with new dates likely to be issued after the holidays.
