The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has issued an important reminder for women beneficiaries, announcing that June 30, 2026, is the final deadline to obtain the Benazir SIM required for future payments.

According to the programme, women who have already received their Benazir SIMs must complete biometric verification at the nearest retailer of their designated partner bank to activate their digital wallets.

BISP officials said beneficiaries who have not yet collected their SIMs should visit the nearest BISP office with their original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and the mobile phone they currently use.

After receiving the SIM, women are advised to wait at least three days before visiting the nearest partner bank retailer to complete the digital wallet activation process.

The programme emphasized that all future financial assistance payments will be transferred through the newly introduced digital wallet system. Beneficiaries will be able to receive their stipends through authorized representatives of BISP partner banks.

Officials said the new system aims to improve transparency, reduce delays, and ensure secure delivery of funds directly to eligible women.
