BISP launches non-conditional payments for women before Eid
The Benazir Income Support Programme has started releasing non-conditional cash payments for eligible women beneficiaries across the country ahead of Eid ul Azha 2026.
According to an official notification circulating on social media, payments for women beneficiaries have begun from May 18, 2026. The latest phase also includes educational stipends for children registered under the BISP Taleemi Wazaif programme.
The announcement stated that beneficiaries whose wallets were created before May 15, 2026, will receive payments through their relevant payment camps. Women can visit designated camps in their areas to collect the amount after verification.
Meanwhile, women whose digital wallets have not yet been activated can receive their payments through BISP-authorised agents available in different districts.
The notice advised all beneficiaries to ensure biometric verification during payment collection to avoid delays or fraud. Beneficiaries were also urged to follow official BISP instructions and avoid relying on unverified information circulating online.
The programme continues to provide financial support to low-income households struggling with rising inflation and daily expenses. Thousands of families across Pakistan depend on BISP assistance for basic household needs, education expenses and children’s welfare.
Officials said the payment process was being monitored to ensure transparency and timely disbursement before Eid holidays.
