Atlas Honda introduces new exchange offer for old CD 70 owners
Atlas Honda has introduced a new exchange scheme for motorcycle owners across Pakistan, giving existing Honda CD 70 owners an opportunity to replace their old bikes with new ones.
The offer is aimed at customers who are tired of frequent visits to mechanics, declining fuel efficiency and maintenance problems associated with older motorcycles.
Under the scheme, customers can bring their used Honda CD 70 to an authorised Atlas Honda 3S dealership for inspection and valuation.
Old bike value deducted
A technical team at the dealership will examine the motorcycle's engine, frame, mechanical condition and overall appearance before determining its market value.
The assessed value of the old motorcycle will then be deducted from the official price of a new Honda CD 70. Customers will only have to pay the remaining amount.
The current price of a Honda CD 70 in Pakistan is Rs159,900.
No fixed value for old motorcycles
Atlas Honda has clarified that there is no fixed exchange value for used motorcycles. The final valuation will depend on factors including the motorcycle's model, mechanical condition and overall physical condition.
This means customers with well-maintained motorcycles could potentially receive a better valuation than owners of heavily used or damaged bikes.
Convenient option for customers
Automotive experts say customers may sometimes secure a higher price by selling their old motorcycle independently after negotiating in the open market. However, the dealership exchange programme offers a more formal and convenient process.
It can also reduce the risks associated with private sales, paperwork issues and lengthy negotiations.
Customers interested in upgrading their old Honda CD 70 can visit their nearest authorised Atlas Honda showroom to learn about the exchange process and eligibility requirements.
