708 flights from Pakistan canceled amid Iran–Israel conflict

Islamabad (Web Desk): Iran-Israel conflict disrupts air travel as 708 Pakistan flights to the Middle East were cancelled in six days, causing major travel chaos.

Hundreds of passengers have faced delays and cancellations as rising tensions in the Middle East continue to affect international flights from Pakistan.

Officials say a total of 708 flights heading from Pakistan to different Middle Eastern countries were cancelled over the last six days due to the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict.

On Thursday alone, about 130 flights to destinations such as the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar were cancelled as airlines adjusted schedules due to regional instability.

At Karachi Airport, 30 flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Sharjah, Kuwait, and Bahrain were suspended.

Islamabad Airport saw 36 flight cancellations to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Sharjah.

Lahore Airport reported 22 cancelled flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, while Peshawar experienced 14 suspensions to Dubai, Sharjah, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi.

Multan Airport also faced disruption, with 14 flights cancelled to Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Khaleejah, Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait.

Sialkot Airport reported 10 cancellations to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and other destinations in the Middle East, while Faisalabad Airport suspended four flights to the region.

Along with air travel, Pakistan’s meat exports to Middle Eastern countries have also been affected.

For the fifth straight day, the airspace and some maritime routes in parts of the region have been closed, disrupting shipments of beef and mutton to Gulf markets.
