4.8-magnitude earthquake jolts Zhob and Chaman

A 4.8-magnitude earthquake has jolted the districts of Zhob and Chaman in Balochistan, causing panic among residents. According to the seismological centre, the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 15 kilometres.

The epicentre was located around 122 kilometres northeast of Zhob. The tremors were felt in different areas of the two districts, prompting many residents to leave their homes and move to open spaces.

Residents rush out of homes as tremors cause panic

The earthquake triggered panic among residents, with people rushing outdoors after feeling the tremors. Residents were seen coming out of their homes while reciting the Kalma Tayyaba.

Although the earthquake caused fear and concern, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation for any further developments.
