(Web Desk): Ministry of IT launches second batch of SkillBridge Apprenticeship Program offering Rs 30,000 monthly stipend and real-world IT experience.

The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication has launched the second batch of the SkillBridge Apprenticeship Program, giving recent IT graduates the chance to gain hands-on industry experience and professional skills. The initiative provides full-time placements in IT and IT-enabled services companies registered with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), bridging the gap between academic learning and workplace demands.

Selected participants will receive a six-month paid apprenticeship with a monthly stipend of Rs 30,000. The program allows apprentices to work on real-world projects, gain practical technical expertise, and develop workplace competencies essential for entering Pakistan’s growing IT job market.

The second batch is scheduled to start on February 20, 2026. The program is open to graduates whose degrees or transcripts were issued in the last two years and who have a minimum CGPA of 2.5. Applicants can apply online between January 26 and February 10, 2026. New candidates must register on the portal, while existing users need to update their profiles. Required documents include academic transcripts and CNIC.
