The Sindh College Education Department (SCED) on Tuesday announced a strict ban on photography in all government girls’ colleges.
The move comes after complaints that photos of female students and teachers were being taken without permission and misused on social media.
The College Education Karachi Region director said taking or sharing photographs without consent on platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp and other digital media will be treated as a punishable offence.
