(Web Desk): Pakistan sets February 8 deadline for Hajj 2026 biometric verification, warning visas will not be issued without completion.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced February 8, 2026, as the final deadline for biometric verification for pilgrims planning to perform Hajj 2026, warning that visas will not be issued without completing the process.

According to an official statement, biometric verification is a mandatory requirement for Hajj visa processing, and no exceptions will be allowed. The ministry emphasized that all pilgrims must complete their biometric registration before the deadline to avoid disqualification.

A spokesperson said pilgrims can seek guidance from their respective banks, where trained staff are available to assist with the biometric procedure and provide necessary information.

The ministry highlighted that the Saudi Visa Bio mobile application, introduced by Saudi authorities, is the easiest and preferred method for biometric verification. Pilgrims can download the app from the mobile Play Store, register using their email address, scan their passport, upload a selfie, and verify fingerprints of both hands. After completing the process, pilgrims will receive a confirmation email, which must be saved for future Hajj processing.

Officials acknowledged that some applicants may face technical difficulties using the mobile app. To assist them, six Tasheer centers have been established across Pakistan in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Multan, and Quetta.

These centers operate Monday to Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm and provide biometric verification services.

The ministry strongly urged pilgrims not to wait until the last date and to complete the biometric process as early as possible to avoid delays or complications in obtaining their Hajj visas.
