(Web Desk): Imran Khan’s son claims visa delays are preventing family from visiting jailed PTI founder and raises concerns over his health.

Qasim Khan, son of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has claimed that he and his brother are being prevented from visiting Pakistan to meet their father, alleging that authorities are deliberately delaying their visa processing.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, Qasim Khan said his father has been held in solitary confinement for the past 914 days. He expressed concern that Imran Khan’s health has been deteriorating and that he has not been given access to independent and adequate medical care.

Qasim said the situation has caused serious emotional distress for the family, adding that denying proper medical treatment to a prisoner is unjust. He also described preventing children from meeting their father as a form of collective punishment.

He warned that failure to take immediate and serious action could lead to irreversible consequences. According to Qasim, he and his brother only want to check on their father’s well-being and meet him, but visa delays have deprived them of this basic right.

He appealed to international human rights organizations and foreign governments to take notice of the situation and raise their voices.

The statement also called for providing Imran Khan with proper medical facilities and allowing family members to meet him on humanitarian grounds.

The development has added to the ongoing political and legal tensions surrounding the former prime minister, who remains in custody amid multiple cases.
