What gifts did PM Shehbaz receive? Shocking Toshakhana record revealed
The Cabinet Division has published the official Toshakhana record for the period from April to June 2026. The record shows that 21 state gifts were received by senior government officials, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Deputy Prime Minister.
According to the official details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received several diplomatic gifts during meetings with foreign leaders and international events. These included a sugar bowl, a premium pen, a model of Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH), a shield, a tie, a model of China’s space station, a commemorative cup, a wristwatch and another shield.
The Deputy Prime Minister also received a number of official gifts from foreign representatives. These included a Chinese leather belt, a model of an Egyptian statue and a pair of cufflinks.
The Cabinet Division confirmed that all the gifts received by the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister were deposited in the Toshakhana. Officials said this was done according to the rules governing state gifts.
Authorities also said the valuation process for the gifts is currently in progress. The estimated value of each item will be determined once the assessment is completed.
Under Pakistan’s Toshakhana rules, every gift received by a public office holder is officially evaluated. A decision about keeping or disposing of the gift is then made according to the law.
