The new schedule will remain in place from December to February. During these months, households will receive gas only at specific times of the day.

According to the loadshedding plan, gas will be available from 5:30am to 8:30am, 11:30am to 1:30pm, and 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Officials advised citizens to cook breakfast and meals during these slots so that the demand can be managed smoothly.

SNGPL authorities clarified that this loadshedding will not apply to the industrial sector. They said that gas demand rises sharply in winter, making such steps necessary to balance supply.
