The Punjab government has formally launched the Parwaaz Card Program, a major initiative aimed at providing interest-free financial assistance to young people who have secured employment opportunities abroad but lack the resources to complete the process.
Under the program, financial support will be extended to 100,000 eligible applicants, helping them cover essential overseas employment expenses such as visa fees, medical examinations, and air tickets. Officials say the initiative is designed to remove financial hurdles that often prevent skilled youth from taking up foreign job offers.
Who can apply for the Parwaaz Card?
According to official guidelines, applicants must be 18 years or older, be residents of Punjab, and hold a verified overseas job offer issued by an authorized foreign employer. Only candidates who meet all eligibility requirements will be considered for financial assistance under the Parwaaz Card Program.
