Amjad Hussain Advocate nominated for Chief Minister
The Pakistan Peoples Party has officially nominated Amjad Hussain Advocate as its candidate for Chief Minister. He is currently serving as the party’s president in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Sources said this is the first time the PPP has nominated a leader from the Gilgit region for the Chief Minister’s office, making it a significant political development for the region.
PPP emerged as the largest party
In the recent elections, the Pakistan Peoples Party secured 9 seats, emerging as the largest political party in the assembly and strengthening its position to lead the Gilgit Baltistan government.
