MURIDKE (Web Desk): The Muridke murder case has moved forward after police registered an FIR against eight unidentified suspects in the killing of PML-N leader Sheikh Shabbir Ahmed.

The former chairman of the Muridke municipal committee was shot dead by armed men on Friday night. The incident has prompted a police investigation, political demands for arrests and mourning across the city.

According to police and family sources, the FIR was registered on the complaint of Sheikh Shabbir’s brother, Sheikh Kabir. Investigators have begun collecting evidence to identify those responsible for the attack.

Police register FIR against eight suspects
