(Web Desk): Information Minister Ata Tarar firmly denied any deal or relief for Imran Khan, calling such reports baseless and misleading.

Federal Information Minister Ata Tarar has strongly rejected reports suggesting that a deal or special relief is being considered for former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media, Tarar said there is “neither any deal nor any relaxation” for Imran Khan. He termed the circulating reports completely false and clarified that giving the impression of any concession is misleading.

The minister emphasized that Imran Khan is a convicted individual and that the legal process is being followed strictly in accordance with court decisions. “There is no truth in the news regarding any relief,” he said, dismissing the claims as baseless speculation.

Tarar also recalled that just two days earlier, he had denied similar reports about a possible deal with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder. At that time, he had urged the opposition not to politicize Imran Khan’s health.

He stated that neither the government wants to politicize the former prime minister’s health nor should such sensitive matters be used for political point-scoring. According to him, creating an impression of behind-the-scenes negotiations is incorrect.

The statement comes amid ongoing political tensions and speculation regarding Imran Khan’s legal status and potential relief. However, the government has once again made it clear that no special arrangement is under consideration.
