RAWALPINDI (Web Desk): The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has ordered the arrest of former PTI chairman Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, directing authorities to present her before the court on November 3.

According to details, Rawalpindi Police submitted a request in court seeking permission to arrest Aleema Khan in connection with the November 26 protest case. The police stated that they needed to produce her before the Anti-Terrorism Court as per the non-bailable arrest warrants already issued.

Sources revealed that the request was made to ensure compliance with the arrest warrants previously issued by the ATC Rawalpindi. The police informed the court that Aleema Khan must be taken into custody and presented for legal proceedings.

Police sources further said that Aleema Khan could be detained at any time under the Sadiqabad police case related to the PTI protest. Following the court’s latest order, law enforcement agencies have intensified their efforts to locate her.

The court has now directed police to arrest and present Aleema Khan on November 3. Meanwhile, on the court’s order, NADRA has blocked her national identity card and passport.

It is worth mentioning that on October 24, the court had already ordered the blocking of Aleema Khan’s CNIC, passport, and bank accounts for her failure to appear despite non-bailable arrest warrants.

The case against Aleema Khan has added a new twist to the PTI leadership’s legal troubles. Her arrest order and blocked documents mark a significant escalation in the ongoing investigations. Political observers believe that this move could heighten tensions between PTI supporters and law enforcement agencies in the days to come.
