
Speaking to reporters outside Adiala Jail, Hamid Raza stated that rumours about the NRO were baseless. In response to a question, he dismissed the speculations strongly, inquiring that “Have you seen the NRO?”
He added that the government was asking for an NRO, not the PTI founder.
Criticising the government, Hamid said that it is continuously engaging in propaganda, but the reality is that Imran Khan is not interested in any kind of deal. He emphasised that PTI always makes decisions in the public interest, not under any pressure or fear.
At this occasion, PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai launched broadside against the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), stating that it wanted to sabotage the negotiation process. He said that the government is continuously carrying out propaganda against the PTI founder, adding that ministers like Khawaja Asif are spreading despair.
He further stated that all government ministers become get irritated by a tweet from Imran Khan, but he will never sign any deal or an NRO. Shaukat Yousafzai added that those who sought an NRO are now in position of comfort in Raiwind.
PTI leaders have stated that negotiations are being held solely in the national interest, and the party is not willing to yield to any pressure.
