LAHORE: (Suno News) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Rauf Hasan said that there was a dire need for a dialogue between the army and PTI.

During an interview with the Voice of America (VoA), he said: “We hope that the deadlock between the army and PTI no longer remains. It is in the interest of the state.”

He further said: “Imran Khan has assigned three people to talk to the establishment. The current government has no power, so there is no use in negotiating with them. It is a product of Form 47.

He added: “Mehmood Khan Achakzai has full authority to talk to political parties because Imran Khan has expressed confidence in him.”

Talking about the legislation regarding the extension of the tenure of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa, he said that the government was active in giving an extension to Qazi Faez Isa, for his behaviour with PTI was visible to everyone. “The last option for the PML-N to save the Form 47 government is the extension of CJP Qazi Faez Isa.”
