On Sunday, Arooba was arrested and subsequently sent to jail on judicial remand by Duty Judge Mureed Abbas.
Komal was represented by Advocate Sardar Masroof who appeared before the court, and argued that two other women associated with the case had already been granted bail. He argued that Komal was not even named in the first information report (FIR).
The case was registered against Raoof Hasan and others under the PECA. The court granted Raoof Hasan s two-day physical remand against the FIA s request for eight days.
