
According to details, PTI founder Imran Khan, in a meeting with party leaders, has sent a message to the party leadership that the head of the opposition alliance, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, should be nominated as the opposition leader in the National Assembly and necessary legal action should be taken for this.
Imran Khan also confirmed the decision of the political committee, and there are also instructions for further consultation regarding the opposition leader in the Senate.

According to sources, Senator Azam Swati is the hot favorite for the opposition leader in the Senate, however, after consultation, the name will be formally proposed and then approved. The decision on the opposition leader in the Senate will be taken in the next few days.
The appointment of Mahmood Khan Achakzai as the opposition leader is also likely to lead to progress in the nomination of the Chief Election Commissioner and members. According to sources, Imran Khan also gave permission to the party to contest all by-elections in the country with full force and also directed to give priority to the families of disqualified assembly members for tickets.
