The committee is headed by PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi and consists of Asad Qaiser, Hamid Khan, Shehryar Afridi, Barrister Gohar and Shibli Faraz.

The committee will send final names to the PTI founder for final decision.

Likewise, Shandana Gulzar will report on the female deserters and reasons behind their decision to quit the party, the sources said.

It is pertinent to mention that after violent protests on May 9, 2023, certain PTI leaders had to quit the party as a crackdown was launched against them on the accusation of attacking state installations.
