(Web Desk): Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) chief Saad Rizvi and several senior party leaders have been named in terrorism charges following violent clashes with security forces in Muridke.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed at the City Muridke police station, the case includes 32 sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, covering charges such as terrorism, murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and robbery.

The FIR names key TLP leaders, including Saad Rizvi, Anas Rizvi, Allama Farooq-ul-Hassan, Maulana Sajjad Saifi and Mufti Wazir Ali, as accused in the case. Police officials confirmed that raids are underway to apprehend those involved in the violent incident, emphasizing that anyone taking the law into their own hands will face strict action.

Meanwhile, authorities have also launched a crackdown on individuals spreading false information and provocative content on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and WhatsApp. Sources revealed that several accounts have been identified for sharing fake news and attempting to incite unrest amid ongoing protests.

A coordinated operation is expected to begin tonight across multiple cities, with over 200 arrests anticipated nationwide. Monitoring cells have been set up to track fake and anonymous accounts posting inflammatory material aimed at disturbing public peace.

Officials confirmed that law enforcement agencies are working round the clock to maintain law and order, warning that any attempt to spread chaos or damage public property will be met with immediate action.
