
The three-day celebrations will continue until August 24, with a large number of devotees expected to attend from across the country.
The district government of Kasur has made special arrangements for security and administration to ensure that pilgrims face no inconvenience.

During the Urs, there will be Sufi music gatherings (Mehfil-e-Sama), Qawwali performances, and special prayers, while arrangements for meals and other facilities will also be provided to the visitors at the shrine.
According to the district administration, a local public holiday has been announced in Kasur on Saturday, August 23, in connection with the Urs, so that the public can participate in the celebrations with full devotion. An official notification has been issued in this regard.
It is worth mentioning that Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah (RA) holds a unique place across the subcontinent due to his poetry and teachings. His verses convey messages of humanity, love, and tolerance, and are still read and sung around the world today.
Literary scholars state that Baba Bulleh Shah’s message remains a guiding light for uniting hearts and promoting peace even in the modern era. Every year, thousands of pilgrims travel to Kasur on the occasion of his Urs, which serves as a powerful example of interfaith harmony.
