
An FIR filed at Ferozabad Police Station accuses Farhan and others of assaulting a government employee during the supervision of fiber-optic cable installation. Offences related to Terrorism-related, attempted murder, rioting, threatening behaviour, and charges under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) are cited by the FIR.
According to the complainant, Hafiz Sohail Ahmed Jadoon, around 20 to 25 men, including Farhan Ghani and four associates, arrived in multiple vehicles and confronted him despite his holding valid NOCs and clearances.
After identifying himself and citing official authorization, Mr. Jadoon was allegedly assaulted, threatened with weapons, and taken to a nearby petrol station where the violence continued. He was later rescued by police.
In response, Saeed Ghani acknowledged an “altercation” had taken place and emphasized that the complainant was well within his rights to file an FIR. He confirmed that Farhan and the others surrendered to authorities and are prepared to prove their innocence in court.

The case has divided the public and causesd mix reactions as some people view the arrest as a simple enforcement of law whereas others question the political motivations. The investigation will proceed impartially and judgment will be based strictly on evidence as assured by the authorities.
