Ducky Bhai admitted that during his “roasting” phase, he produced inappropriate videos—a period he now regrets—and offered a heartfelt apology to the Pakistani nation. He said:

“I used to make inappropriate videos during my roasting days, and I sincerely apologize to the entire Pakistani nation.”

He further explained that he promoted certain applications without verifying their legitimacy, noting that they appeared during PSL matches:

“Some apps were being promoted, including during PSL matches, and I didn’t check whether they were permitted in Pakistan. I’m sorry for my actions.”

This marks a rare moment of acknowledgment from the popular creator, who is now at the center of a legal investigation.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) arrested Ducky Bhai at Lahore Airport on August 17 and secured an initial two-day physical remand, later extended by four days. In a subsequent court hearing, the remand was further extended by five more days.

The First Information Report (FIR) lists charges under several sections of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016, including electronic forgery, fraud, spamming, and spoofing, as well as sections 294-B and 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code, which pertain to prize offers in trade and cheating.

The FIR also contends that Ducky Bhai allegedly functioned as an unauthorized “country manager” for one of the apps, collecting millions from unsuspecting users. Investigators recovered evidence of WhatsApp communications and illegal payments from his seized devices.

The NCCIA has been instructed by the court to present a detailed investigation report at the next hearing. While the probe proceeds, their custody continues.
