ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): Islamabad-based lawyer Naba Bakhtiar has launched a new perfume called Maryam’s Blend as a personal tribute to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Bakhtiar said she launched the fragrance because she was inspired by the chief minister’s leadership, explaining “I’ve fallen in love with Madam’s leadership.” The perfume packaging even features the CM’s portrait and is marketed as a symbol of grace and confidence.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif who took office in February 2024 responded to the gesture on social media with a smiley-faced tweet: “I also want one please.” The news quickly spread online, with supporters praising the creative tribute.

Naba, an advocate based in Islamabad, described the scent as a “fragrance of elegance and individuality” and presented it to Islamabad Bar President Naeem Ali Gujjar.

She said the perfume aims to inspire confidence among young Pakistanis, reflecting Maryam Nawaz’s image as a youth motivator and role model. Naba said she also hoped the launch would highlight women’s entrepreneurship and leadership. On the box the fragrance is labeled as “tribute to Honourable Chief Minister Madam Mariyam Nawaz Sharif – Youth Motivator.”

It is important to note that Maryam Nawaz has launched many initiatives such as Suthra Punjab (Clean Punjab), The CM Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme, The Laptop Scheme, Apni Chhet Apna Gher, etc to fascilate citizens in Pakistan and improve quality of life and living conditions and through these she has paved the the way towards a sustainable and greener Punjab.
